  1. Oh so very true. Ropes and chains are not required to bind but one can be held just as firmly by those we cannot see.

    I’ve never understood the appeal of shibari, but, as with cubism, serial music and other strange tastes ( 😉 ) , I’m happy for people who get joy out of roping or being roped.

    Giles- I’ve never had the patience or desire for complex bondage myself. It makes for lovely pictures though.
