Love Our Lurkers

LOL9-3

The shops are telling me it’s Christmas already, but there’s another very important holiday before we get to that one. It’s Love our Lurkers day in spanking blog land (though I suppose they may not know that and therefore can be forgiven). Be sure to head over to Hermione’s place to see who all is participating, and perhaps join in the fun by leaving a quick comment to say hello.  I too will be making an effort to speak up a bit this year, as I realise it has been far too long since I’ve written to many old (and new) friends.

  1. Oh the pressures of modern life: keeping up the blog; commenting on others; Facebook; Twitter; it’s all too much I shall retreat to another age and do needlework while drinking tea and gossiping. Sorry Kia no profound comments from me my mind rarely goes beyond, “Don’t speak with your mouth full. How many times do you have to be told?” Many congratulations on your blog and welcome to your lurkers.

  2. Hi Kia,
Nudged by LOL day this is my first ever comment on any blog.
I want you to know that your blog is one of the two I always check (mainly to see if you’ve managed another story – 😉 ) As an aging, barely toppy male, I love the literate insight into what the subby girl is moved by.
    Good luck and happy blogging

  3. DJ- Yes, I remember that comment very well- I was quite excited 🙂 Fitting that you should be the first- both on the blog, and for this particular post as it was your site that had reminded me about LOL day!

Sue- Always good to hear from you 🙂 I’ll join you for the tea and gossip, though I’d probably best stay away from the needlework. If I don’t prick myself, I’ll most certainly end up tangled.

Hermione- Glad to join, and thank you very much for hosting!

Corinne- Catching up wth everyone is one of my favourite parts of LOL day 🙂

abby and Leigh- Welcome! I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Clint and Chelsea- Thanks for commenting- always fun to learn who is reading these little things 🙂

Giles- I am honoured! Welcome to the wonderful world of commenting 🙂 Thank you very much for sharing your motivations for reading; I’m always curious about what brings people here.

Ronnie- you are most welcome 🙂

Janey- Always good to hear from you! I am terrible at commenting as well, I completely understand. Glad to have you here- either commenting or reading.

Katie- Nice to meet you as well 🙂
