I sit in the pub with a pint and a laptop, typing frantically, focused on my work, my words. Out of the corner of my eye though, I sometimes see the concerned looks. Sometimes notice the pity. It’s the holidays, and they think I’m alone.
I’m not though, not really.
I’m with you. And that counts for a hell of a lot more than they could realise.
Happy Holidays to All!
Kia, I write in a short break. The meal is in an advanced state. The house is in chaos, noisy and I’d love to be in your pub. But no matter. I raise my glass of bubbly and say, “Cheers,” soon I’ll open your card.
Merry Christmas
Sue
Happy holidays to you lovely lady.
Your words are a gift to all. Keep writing
Happy holidays to you both! And best of luck with the cooking and chaos 🙂
