At a recent CLASS detention event, we were all instructed to bring a note explaining what we had done to warrant being kept in on a Saturday afternoon. We were also told, as it was December, that allowances would be made for festive behaviour. What did they expect?

It was the funniest ever detention note. Mind you the student’s bottom didn’t find it funny afterwards.
